EP. 202 New To Fishing, but She Is Absolutely Hooked! Meet Fancy Pants Fishing Kat Jones.
This week I'm excited to introduce you to someone who only started fishing in the last couple years, but she's all in. @fancypantsfishing is her Facebook and Instagram handle (go give her a follow!). Her actual name is Kat Jones, and I was thrilled to have the chance to meet her in-person while we were down at Logan Martin for the LBAA Classic.

Her actual name is Kat Jones, and I was thrilled to have the chance to meet her in-person while we were down at Logan Martin for the LBAA Classic.
It's hard to beat the passion of someone who is new to the sport and has a love for it like Kat clearly does. She's even toying with the idea of trying out an LBAA event or 2 next year as a Co-Angler! Kat came to a couple of our weigh-ins during the tournament and I think the ladies may have made a bit of an impression. Alyssa Johnson even brought Kat's kids up on stage with her for her weigh-in, and they got to meet and collect autographs from all the qualifiers. It was a special thing to see!
She's been watching our Women's World of Fishing Monday Night Live's with Barbara Harris (to resume next week after I've fully recovered from The Classic), chiming in with comments and asking some great questions as well.
