EP. 65 Passing Her Passion for Fishing on Down the Line
This week, we're pleased to introduce you to an incredibly inspiring woman angler named Jeanne Lilienthal. She's a pioneer in law enforcement, one of the 1st female police officers to walk the streets of Detroit. Now retired, she has given much of her time and resources over the last 29 + years of her life raising money to send kids to camp and teaching them how to fish.
We couldn't think of a better person to feature to kick off our new series of episodes all centered around the importance pass along our passion for fishing to the next generation.
We'll let Jeanne tell you her important story, so sit back and enjoy. Then, make a commitment to introduce 1 kid to the sport of fishing in the near future. Together we can make a difference and help preserve the future of fishing! When you, do let us know about your experience by posting about it in The Woman Angler & Adventurer Facebook Group! Your experience will hopefully inspire others to do the same!
Interested in starting something similar in your area? Contact Jeanne, she'll be happy to talk with you to provide direction and answer any questions you may have! Email: jmlilie@aol.com Phone: (313) 378-0885
