EP. 41 Special Series: Women on Ice Episode Two Featuring Kristine (K.J.) Houtman

We are excited to bring to you our 2nd episode in our "Women On Ice" series. We will be bringing you episodes featuring the media team of the Woman Ice Angler Project. Each week we will feature a member of the team. Get to know them and their story of how they became involved in Ice Fishing and this project that promotes all Women Ice Anglers.

There seems to have been an explosion in the world of Women who enjoy spending time walking on water. The many resources that are now available for female anglers have never been greater. Fishing clubs, gear improvements and increased exposure in the media have all helped fuel this firestorm.

We are so thrilled to partner with Clam Outdoors in bringing you these episodes. These women are great resources for all Women Anglers and Adventurers. You can hear more about joining the team when they hit the ice on Lake Superior in a few weeks. This week's episode features Women Ice Angler Project team member K.J. Houtman. A sportfishing industry veteran and outdoor writer, she authored a six-book series for kids, “Fish On Kids Books” to introduce middle school-age readers to the fun adventures around fishing, camping and hunting with main-character and avid angler Gus Roberts.
