The Woman Angler & Adventurer — California
EP. 229 Fishing for Dinosaurs With Captain Virginia Salvador: San Francisco Sturgeon
You're in for a rare treat this week to wrap up our celebration of Women in Sports Month. We don't often have the chance to welcome West Coast anglers on the show. I'm excited for you to meet Captain Virginia Salvador out of San Francisco!
Captain Virginia is an absolute badass in women's fishing. I can't wait for you to hear her work with the California Sturgeon fishery and so much more!
EP. 200 West Coast Angler Clara Ricabal Getting Out of Her Comfort Zone and Pushing the Limits!
Welcome to a milestone! The 200th episode of The Woman Angler & Adventurer podcast. Since this show launched back in 2018, we've had only a few West Coast anglers on the show- not nearly enough. So I can't think of a better way to celebrate our 200th episode with another West Cost angler- Clara Ricabal!
Clara's origins are from Cuba, so she's bi-lingual and part of Takemefishing.org's Women Making Waves campaign, as well as their Vamos A Pescar initiative to help get more women and minorities involved in the sport of fishing.
EP. 135 The Freedom of a Freedom Boat Club Membership
Imagine if you had access to the largest fleet of boats in NORTH AMERICA? To me, that would mean you have the freedom to enjoy life! That's what Freedom Boat Club membership is all about.
On this week's episode of The Woman Angler & Adventurer podcast, I visit with brand new Freedom Boat Club member and avid angler Lesley Smith. Lesley and her husband recently joined Freedom Boat Club in San Diego so they could take advantage of the two local clubs and go out on a boat and fish to their heart's content.
