On this week's episode, Ana Leschishin (say Leschishin three times fast...we dare you!) a.k.a. Ana on Ice is our special guest. We've been wanting to have her on the show for quite some time and the timing couldn't have been more perfect because we were able to meet up in person.

Ana takes us behind-the-scenes on what it's like to work in marketing for Outdoor Bound TV. We also talk a good deal about ice fishing, specifically up in Manitoba- which is not for the faint of heart. We talk about Manitoba's "fish first" practices via the use of barbless hooks and other means, and how there'd be something to gain if that would catch on in the States.

"I'm just a girl who loves to fish"...That's the title of a popular YouTube video by young fishing sensation Averie Rose. But she's already so much more than that. This rising star from Canada is using her undeniable passion for fishing to help light the fire for other kids her age and get more people unglued from their devices and out enjoying the great outdoors.

She was the most perfect guest to bring on our show and wrap up our series of episodes dedicated to getting more people involved in sport fishing, and we couldn't imagine ending it on a higher note than this!

EP. 57 Talking Fishing Backstage at the Grand Ole Opry with Country Music Star Terri Clark

It was a busy Friday night at the Grand Ole Opry for country music star Terri Clark. She was hosting the 7:30 segment of the show which included performing two songs of her own. Guests on her portion of the evening's entertainment included bluegrass comedian Mike Snider and country legend John Conlee. (To the audience's amusement, they discovered Clark can do a pretty darn good John Conlee "Rose Colored Glasses" impersonation!)

On top of all of that, Clark hosts her own radio show called Country Gold which includes interviews she does with stars backstage at the Grand Ole Opry. She happened to have one of these interviews to do that evening with industry icon Vince Gill.
