EP. 256 Shimano Empowering Women, Fishing in Charleston, Darwin the Dog and More With Kelsey Dick

EP. 256 Shimano Empowering Women, Fishing in Charleston, Darwin the Dog and More With Kelsey Dick

Her Instagram bio says it best, "Adventures of a girl, a griff, and a saltwater skiff." On this week's episode of The Woman Angler & Adventurer podcast, meet outdoor lover Kelsey Dick!

She loves fishing because it puts her out in nature, she has an adorable first mate, Darwin, a Brussels Griffin (who has an uncanny knack for fishing), and lives her passion through her career in marketing for one of the most iconic brands in the industry, Shimano North America. It's an honor to get to introduce you to Kelsey (now Captain Kelsey) and I have no doubt you'll be inspired.

EP. 250 Retention Ideas From the Women in Fishing Meetup With Special Guest Debbie Hanson

Wow! Hard to believe we've hit 250 episodes!

This week I'm excited to welcome Captain Debbie Hanson back to the show. Debbie was a part of putting the 2022 Women in Fishing Meetup together at iCast along with other past podcast guests Bebe Harrison and Dee Kaminski. I thought it would be fitting to wrap up with a series of episodes from iCast with a recap of how the event went and to discuss some of the wonderful retention ideas that were shared at the meetup.

Later that evening Costa hosted a huge party at Top Golf and it was a major highlight of the week for me. They know how to do it up right!

EP. 248 Living the Passion, Supporting Women Anglers, and Beyond: Meet Rob Zorn from iBass360

EP. 248 Living the Passion, Supporting Women Anglers, and Beyond: Meet Rob Zorn from iBass360

"Live the Passion" and "Network. Eat. Sleep. Repeat." are two mantras of iBass360, an organization dedicated to promoting the sport of bass fishing all the way from the everyday amateur angler on up to the seasoned pro.

What drew me to iBass360 was its relentless support for female anglers. I kept seeing their posts pop up on my social media feed time and time again, most if not all of them craftily written by their Social Media Director Eric Evans. Finally, I couldn't help myself and I had to dig in to find out more about who they were.
