    EP. 140 Throwback to Wildcast!

    EP. 140 Throwback to Wildcast!
It's always fun getting a chance to be featured on other podcasts. Last July I had a fun opportunity to be a guest on the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency's show called Wildcast. It's a TV show as well as an audio podcast. What was so fun about it was I had them come out to the lake and film right on my Qwest Pontoon! I thought it would be fun to share it with you all here on The Woman Angler & Adventurer podcast!

EP. 124 Catching up with Adventuress Jennifer Pudenz

EP. 124 Catching up with Adventuress Jennifer Pudenz

It's been a little while since I last had a conversation with Jennifer Pudenz on the show. We chatted via Skype way back on Episode 25. So when a couple of months back, Barb and I had the opportunity to catch up with Jennifer and meet her in person, we couldn't pass it up!

Jennifer's had some exciting things going on including getting the state record turkey for a female bowhunter in Iowa! Even more exciting, it was all caught on video and you can watch that here...

EP. 118 Tribute: The Ladies Behind the Godfather of Ice Fishing: Meet the Genz Girls
In Memory of Patsy M. Genz 1948-2020

This is a special replay of Episode 51 in honor of the life of Patsy Genz.

Anyone who ice fishes has heard of Dave Genz. Dave is called the godfather of ice fishing and has revolutionized the sport. Many people don’t realize that behind the scenes was his wife Patsy and daughters, Missy and Kathy. From actually sewing the shacks, to wrapping hooks with lead and packaging maggots to be shipped around the country those three women were and are an important part of this legacy. Missy and Kathy said they didn’t grow up fishing, they grew up catching! Listen in as we talk to the three of them around their kitchen table, and find out the rest of the story.
