The Woman Angler & Adventurer — Lady Bass Anglers
EP. 249 Costa Sunglasses Supporting Women Anglers With Compete + Conserve, and an Exciting New Model Coming Soon in the Pro Series Lineup With John Acosta
This week I am featuring the final interview I did from this year's iCast down in Orlando. It was an honor to get to sit down "backstage" with Costa Sunglasses Vice President of Marketing John Acosta to talk about the Compete + Conserve program, the new Pro Series lineup, and more!
Later that evening Costa hosted a huge party at Top Golf and it was a major highlight of the week for me. They know how to do it up right!
EP. 230 Talking Bass Tournament Fishing Strategy With the Crappie Hippie!
Hard to believe March is almost over! I hope you've enjoyed our Celebration of Women in Sports Month with our special guests!
To wrap it up we're doing something a little bit different. I recently got to sit down with my friend, The Crappie Hippie John King while he picked my brain about bass tournament fishing. It was a super fun conversation, and John was kind enough to let me share it with listeners of The Woman Angler & Adventurer this week!
EP. 206 LBAA Classic Recap and Trip to Estes Park, CO
Last week on the Women's World of Fishing Monday Night Takeover, I got to sit down with host Barbara Harris and give a fun recap of what all I've been up to lately! I go into some detail about my strategy for the big LBAA Classic on Logan Martin and I share some fun stories from my recent trip to Estes Park, CO for the 2021 Outdoor Media Summit.
I thought I'd share that conversation with you all on this week's episode.
EP. 202 New To Fishing, but She Is Absolutely Hooked! Meet Fancy Pants Fishing Kat Jones.
This week I'm excited to introduce you to someone who only started fishing in the last couple years, but she's all in. @fancypantsfishing is her Facebook and Instagram handle (go give her a follow!). Her actual name is Kat Jones, and I was thrilled to have the chance to meet her in-person while we were down at Logan Martin for the LBAA Classic.
It's hard to beat the passion of someone who is new to the sport and has a love for it like Kat clearly does. She's even toying with the idea of trying out an LBAA event or 2 next year as a Co-Angler! Kat came to a couple of our weigh-ins during the tournament and I think the ladies may have made a bit of an impression. Alisa Johnson even brought Kat's kids up on stage with her for her weigh-in, and they got to meet and collect autographs from all the qualifiers. It was a special thing to see!
