EP. 217 From Never Fished Before To Teaching Others and Having Sponsors in Lightning Speed- Learn How She Did It!

Happy New Year everyone! I'm excited to kick off the new year with an inspiring story of a woman who is relatively new to fishing but has taken her passion such a long way in a short amount of time.

Meet TJ Gramberg! TJ is an avid member of Wisconsin Women Fish, loves ice fishing, fishing for catfish, pike, and many other species. She was introduced to the sport about 6 years ago and has been like a sponge ever since, soaking as much information up as possible and fishing every chance she gets.

EP. 165 Breaking the Ice Series Two Inspirational Independant Women Ice Anglers from Minnesota

EP. 165 Breaking the Ice Series Two Inspirational Independant Women Ice Anglers from Minnesota

Wrapping up the special Breaking the Ice Series with conversations with not one, but two amazing woman ice anlgers...Jessi Havemeier and Katie Halverson. Both are active members of Women Anglers of Minnesota (WAM) and have a passion for passing their knowledge onto others.

In the words of Kristen Merwin, Former President of WAM:

"Jessi is a single mom who is very unique. She is a strong independent woman who has a passion for fishing and classic trucks. Many times you will find posts on what she is working on her classic truck doing most of the work on her own!  As an ice angler she is an independent angler who goes out on her own to find her own fish, drill her own holes and of course clean her catch!

EP. 164 Breaking the Ice Series Participant Perspective on the Ladies Midwest Meetup

EP. 164 Breaking the Ice Series Participant Perspective on the Ladies Midwest Meetup

Allison Ezell, from Missouri, never ice fished before when she decided to get in on the 1st ever Ladies Midwest Meetup event. She didn't know anyone and had no idea what to expect, but she did it anyway! It turned out to be an amazing experience...so amazing in fact, that she jumped on the opportunity to do it again the following year. The next year, she landed a 14" crappie (that she nearly lost) and met even more amazing female ice anglers.

On this weeks episode which is part of the special "Breaking the Ice" series, Allison recounts her experiences and tells stories from a participant's perspective. She talks about being a newbie, learning how to read a Vexilar, her next big goa, and more!
