The Woman Angler & Adventurer — Multi Species

EP. 200 West Coast Angler Clara Ricabal Getting Out of Her Comfort Zone and Pushing the Limits!

EP. 200 West Coast Angler Clara Ricabal Getting Out of Her Comfort Zone and Pushing the Limits!

Welcome to a milestone! The 200th episode of The Woman Angler & Adventurer podcast. Since this show launched back in 2018, we've had only a few West Coast anglers on the show- not nearly enough. So I can't think of a better way to celebrate our 200th episode with another West Cost angler- Clara Ricabal!

Clara's origins are from Cuba, so she's bi-lingual and part of Takemefishing.org's Women Making Waves campaign, as well as their Vamos A Pescar initiative to help get more women and minorities involved in the sport of fishing.

EP. 45 Overcoming the Odds by Not Giving up on Her Passion for Fishing!

EP. 45 Overcoming the Odds by Not Giving up on Her Passion for Fishing!
You've heard us talk about our Woman Angler & Adventurer Facebook Group on the show (if you're not already a member- go join here!). There's a lot of amazing women in that group and one of our favorite things to do is to read their stories. One in particular really touched us recently. It was that of group member Rachel Lynn Vickers. We think it will touch and inspire you too, so we wanted to have her on the show to share it with all the listeners.

She hails from the Adirondack Mountains of Northern New York and is a fisheries biologist, Forest Ranger, & both a Freelance & Fisheries expert Field writer for Coastal Angler & The Angler Magazines. Fishing is her passion, and it may have saved her life!
