This week's guest is Angelica Talan, a social media influencer and blogger out of Washington D.C. who grew up fishing with her family in Ohio but got away from it at some point. This week I'm excited to welcome Brittany Howard back to the podcast exactly 50 episodes later (if you missed the last one, check it out here!) We took a trip up to Lake Erie to cast for walleye with Captain Mark Cahlik from Mark1 Sportfishing in Port Clinton, OH. We brought a couple other ladies along and we all had a blast...so much fun in fact we are talking about coming back up in July for smallmouth!
The weather Day 1 wasn't the greatest, but we still caught some nice fish. Day 2 totally made up for it. We had an absolute blast and we recap the experience on this week's episode.
Welcome to this week's episode, all about the Girl's Trip I went on with Jen Ripple from DUN Magazine and Outdoor Girls Cheryl Smith. It was a whirlwind of a trip, but so incredibly worth it!
I drove two hours from Nashville up to Land Between the Lakes to meet up with Jen on an early Monday morning. We loaded up the truck and continued our trek north 8.5 hours to Port Clinton, OH. In retrospect, we wondered why we didn't just fly up, but I'm glad we didn't. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time!
