This week I am featuring the final interview I did from this year's iCast down in Orlando. It was an honor to get to sit down "backstage" with Costa Sunglasses Vice President of Marketing John Acosta to talk about the Compete + Conserve program, the new Pro Series lineup, and more!
Later that evening Costa hosted a huge party at Top Golf and it was a major highlight of the week for me. They know how to do it up right!
As we try and sift through the rubble of the COVID-19 Pandemic with even more uncertainty yet to come, innovative industry marketing agency Gunpowder is trying to help. They saw the need for a centralized resource to support fishing guides and small businesses alike. Hence FishForEachOther.com was born.
On this week's episode of The Woman Angler & Adventurer podcast I speak with Gunpowder's founder Ryan Chuckel about the current crisis and this new website.
Welcome to our 2nd episode in a short series we've put together to emphasize the importance of introducing someone new to the sport of fishing. This week we have a conversation with Pat Neu, director of The Future Angler Foundation. FAF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit membership organization formed in April of 2012 by a group of anglers dedicated to helping grow the sport of fishing through education and outreach.
When you think of organizations like FAF, you often immediately think of kids and yes, that is a big part of it. Pat is quick to point out it is called The Future Angler Foundation for a reason. Their goal is to reach potential new anglers of all ages, race, and gender to the sport of fishing and educate them on how to catch fish and protect the resource. This educational component is critical for the future of the sport.
