Welcome to this special encore audio edition of Women's World of Fishing Monday Night Takeover on The Woman Angler & Adventurer Podcast.
Last week, Barbara Harris and I welcomed Executive Director of Fishanistas Jeanine Blair to the show. Fishanistas is a women's fishing group designed to encourage and support ALL women of ALL races and ethnic backgrounds.
Need help finding the courage to push past something causing fear in your life? Check out this special edition of The Woman Angler & Adventurer One Day at a Time Series episode featuring Katherine Field!
Katherine has been on the show before (listen to the episode here), but it's been a minute, and in that minute she's been through some pretty heavy stuff. Yet, she continues to press on and face her fears, fishing a daunting number of kayak bass fishing tournaments and inspiring the heck out of me, and I'm sure a lot of others who follow her on her journey.
This week's special guest, Nebraskan Jennifer Mues, is one busy lady. She's a Professional Kayak Angler, a Podcast Host herself (of the Bass Fishing Dads Podcast), Social Media Consultant, and Sponsored Angler & Regional Team Leader for Bonafide Kayaks. If all that didn't keep her busy enough, she's also a busy wife and mother.
In this episode, Jennifer talks about how she got into kayak fishing, her journey to fishing the 1st official Kayak Fishing Event at the Bassmaster Classic, which was earlier this year at Possum Kingdom Lake in Mineral Wells, TX. Plus she shares a harrowing story that happened during practice fishing for that event which very easily could have ended in tragedy.
