Bonus episode time! We got so much great stuff from the Redfish Roadie Roadtrip with Rip and Hopper's Aventure, we wanted to share two with you today! We're still rollin' in the minivan (#minivanlife).
This time we've got some special guests in the van. They joined us for the Stuart, FL leg of the trip and we're so glad they did!
Did you decide to have kids and in turn had to put your outdoor pursuits on the backburner or even on hold completely? Do you struggle to be as active as you'd like because you have to put up with kids that are uninterested and would rather be home playing video games? Then this episode is for YOU!
Meet Chanda Gelbhart! Chanda is an active member of Women Anglers of Minnesota, is an avid gardener, cook, entrepreneur AND is one of the most inspiring women we've come across when it comes to making outdoor adventures like fishing and hunting a family affair.
I had the chance to meet up with Heather Hodson from United Women on the Fly and Jen Ripple from DUN Magazine on location at Fly South in Nashville, TN on the very first stop of their road trip dubbed Rip and Hopper's Adventure and we had a blast!
Heather and Jen have embarked on a 19 day, 3,350 mile, 13 states from Tennessee to Washington road trip with the goal of fishing and meeting up with as many women as they can along the way. You can follow their entire journey on social media. Links included in the additional resources section below!
They had a ton of great information and insight to share on women in the world of fishing and fly fishing specifically. You're really going to enjoy this upbeat and fun episode of The Woman Angler & Adventurer!
