This week we have a special episode of The Woman Angler & Adventurer podcast. I was recently an in studio guest on Reel Talk Radio ESPN 99.3 in Southwest Florida hosted by Captain Debbie Hanson. They were kind enough to let me share clips from the show on the podcast so all of you can check it out if you missed it.
Debbie and I had so much fun catching up. We also had some really cool call ins including Amy Lockhart from Lady Vets Fishing and Betty Bauman from Ladies, Let's Go Fishing! Amy will be a guest on an upcoming episode so you can hear her full story and I've wanted to have Betty on the show for some time, so this works out great. You're going to hear all the latest goings on with the Ladies, Let's Go Fishing organization.
I recently had a great time catching up with Chasten Whitfield (whom you may remember from Episode 79) down in Bradenton, FL. She's had a lot of amazing things going on through her non-profit, Chastenation, taking disadvantaged youth fishing and fishing various tournaments. She recently had an epic weekend with two very special kids that you're going to hear all about.
It was high time we got caught up! You're really going to enjoy and be inspired by this episode!
She's got some other huge things in the works we couldn't announce just yet, but rest assured we'll be catching up again, and it might not be another nearly 100 episodes in between next time!
Welcome to this week's Woman Angler & Adventurer podcast episode featuring part 2 of my conversation with former Bass'n Gal Linda Condor. Linda tells a few more amazing stories and also shares some practical knowledge of things she's learned over the years- advice on choosing rods, reels, baits and more.
Check it out and then consider joining a group such as Women Anglers of Minnesota to get connected with ladies like Linda who are eager to share their hard earned knowledge with up and coming ladies in order to help advance the sport of fishing!
I love talking to the ladies who have been in the sport of fishing for a long time. They always have the greatest stories and memories to share. This week's guest is no exception!
Linda Conder hails from the U.P. (Upper Peninsula of Michigan), but lived in Minnesota for many years. She joined Women Anglers of Minnesota and after some encouragement from the president of that group at the time, she joined the Bass'n Gals Women's Pro Bass Tour. She fished about 50 tournaments with that group and has lot of great stories to tell from her adventures.
