Hunter McWaters grew up hunting and fishing in the pine forests and salt marshes of Virginia’s Eastern Shore and the lower Chesapeake Bay. Hunter was introduced to waterfowling as a child by his father, but after his first experience whitetail deer hunting, he found his true passion was big game. In 2019, Hunter did his first DIY backcountry western hunt on a life-changing trip to East-Central Alaska. Since then, Hunter has totally immersed himself in western hunting and found his calling in the mental, physical, and spiritual challenge that is mountain big game hunting, primarily in the American West.
