Allison Ezell, from Missouri, never ice fished before when she decided to get in on the 1st ever Ladies Midwest Meetup event. She didn't know anyone and had no idea what to expect, but she did it anyway! It turned out to be an amazing experience...so amazing in fact, that she jumped on the opportunity to do it again the following year. The next year, she landed a 14" crappie (that she nearly lost) and met even more amazing female ice anglers.
On this weeks episode which is part of the special "Breaking the Ice" series, Allison recounts her experiences and tells stories from a participant's perspective. She talks about being a newbie, learning how to read a Vexilar, her next big goa, and more!
