The Woman Angler & Adventurer

EP. 294 From Zero to Fourth Place: A Tale of Tenacity in Summer Fishing Tournaments

Welcome to the Woman Angler and Adventurer podcast, where we empower women who love fishing and the outdoors.
In this episode, I'm excited to bring you the Truman Lake Tournament Recap, where I recently participated in the last regular season tournament of the Lady Bass Anglers Association Women's Pro Bass Tour held on Truman Lake in Missouri.
During this tournament, I tried several different fishing approaches with varying levels of success. I also navigated tricky areas like the "cut-through" on the lake, where boaters must be careful to avoid hitting trees.
I'm excited for an upcoming Fish Nerds podcast episode where Pam Martin-Wells and Cassie Hall chatted with my friend, The Crappie Hippie John King.
Throughout the episode, I share personal updates, including losing our cherished 14-year-old dog, Sophie. In the end, I secured 4th place in the tournament overall
Join in as we dive into my experience during the Truman Lake Tournament, and get a closer look at what it's like to be a professional angler.
