EP 90 Don't Let Physical Challenges Keep You Down Listen to This!

"I could hurt just as much sitting at home trying to choose between one TV show or one movie I've already seen or what-have-you OR be in the same amount of pain but go out and experience trying to catch a fish, listening to the eagles, watching a deer, looking at loons, just watching leaves and listening to the wind or the rustle of corn leaves or the flow of grass. Those seem like small things, but in my life they're huge." -Allison Roberts

If you have physical challenges that have been holding you back from living life to the fullest, this is a great episode for you to listen to for some major motivation and inspiration.

Meet die-hard angler, Allison Roberts. After an injury at work, Allison is now forced to walk with two forearm crutches, but she doesn't let that hold her back. Not even from ice fishing. Allison is the epitome of the "everything is figureouttable" mentality.

She's found her tribe in Wisconsin Women Fish and fish she does. Now she's taken it to the next level by graduating from the Wisconsin DNR's R3 Angler Instructor Certification Program so she can pass her passion on to more anglers. She also recently won the Jo Curry Award (Most Determined Angler) at Wisconsin Women Fish's Annual Fish Camp this past fall. That award doesn't go to the angler who catches the most fish or the biggest...it goes to the one, who against all obstacles, hardships, difficulties, and setbacks, continues to get time on the water to enjoy her passion even though it's not easy. We can't think of a more fitting recipient than Allison Roberts!

Now get out there and go get YOUR fish on!
