In fishing, we often say, "just one more cast," because we always feel that the last cast will result in the last fish to fill our limit, or even better, the big Mama. As fisherman, I think we feel that way throughout the day, which can make it difficult to leave the area we caught them so well in during practice. However, when the tournament day is actually wrapping up, it seems like we are calculating how long it takes us to get back to check-in down to the second so we can literally have "just one more cast for the day." More often than not, it results in another 30 seconds of lost time and no extra fish and no Big Mama. But sometimes, it might just work out for you like it did for the Lady Bass Anglers Association Pro Angler Champion Guest we have tonight, Robbie Hartline. I can only imagine the excitement, the rush of now having to deal with getting the fish in the livewell, pulling up the trolling motor, getting life vests on, AND making it back to check-in on time with seconds to spare! Luckily, Robbie has a need for speed so hammering down would never be a problem for her! For anyone who loves to finesse fish or use electronics offshore then this is your girl. Is this how she caught her fish? We will find out together! Robbie is a humble, kind, genuine, and versatile angler who has lived/fished in Missouri and now in Arkansas. However, she has fished all over the country because she has not missed a tournament with the LBAA in the decade it has been running. She is an angler who volunteers to let co-anglers prefish with her. Robbie will take the time to teach newer anglers if asked and she will also ask anglers about certain things if they are doing something that piques her interest. Robbie is an extremely good role model for ladies in professional fishing both on and off the water. Congratulations for your win Robbie and we can't wait to hear how you did it!
