On this episode, we are taking questions about bass fishing sponsorships. Yes, the title is funny because who wouldn't want a sponsorship if they have a passion for fishing, right? However, how much does everyone really know about what a true sponsorship entails? Does a company send you all the gear you want and pay for all of your expenses? If this is what you are expecting, you best be prepared to lower your expectations or move on. People who have been in the industry for awhile now have learned to change their entire frame of mind when it comes to sponsorships, which are now more appropriately considered partnerships.
