2025 Season Coming in March!
The Woman Angler & Adventurer

Pro Kayak Angler Katherine Fields Moves Up The Ranks and All Over The Country

We could NOT be happier to have Kate on the show tonight! Honestly, even if you are not into fishing, tonight's show would be a good night to tune in with a refreshment and just hear about Kate's journey over the past couple of years. Who knows, you might be truly inspired to "jump," just like we talked about in our Shannon Wells episode in the Spring. I don't want to give too much information away because NOBODY can tell Kate's story with as much insight and passion as her. However, let me tell you a terrifying story and put yourself in this situation. Later in life you develop a massive love, passion, obsession for something, a sport maybe, perhaps fishing we'll say haha! You're living in a state with not a lot of competitive bass fishing and you're working full time. You are traveling far for tournaments and can't fish as much as you want. However, you are able to do a lot of your work on the road so you start fishing even more, traveling all over the country, living in hotels, and still paying house bills for a house you left behind temporarily. Then as time goes on the passion for it just intensifies and although you really struggled with the decision because you're a responsible adult, you quit your job. Can you imagine?!?! Your consistent income and you quit for your DREAM! Wow! That is amazingly brave and there are so many people who would love to do it, but can't. It's terrifying! How did she do it and why all of a sudden? We will find out! Kate is at a hotel in Illinois for tonight's episode and on her way to another tournament up north. 2021 has been an amazing fishing year for her. She has been doing extremely well in all of the series she is fishing! In fact, I couldn't even fit all of her statistics on the thumbnail, but I'm sure we will discuss them tonight. Be sure to tune in tonight at 8:00 p.m. EST to hear about Kate's journey and how she is killing it on multiple trails. Way to go Kate!
